I'm liking the level of detail on this model, as well as the smoothness. Is it a tanker? A carrier?

it's actually a heavy cruiser, like the Constitution class:

Personaly i don't like the hull section that sticks out the back, but i see that you were doing it for the design, nicly done.

the gist of the SFM article is that it was designed by the same Andorian yard as the Saber and Kestrel classes
