you may want to post your problem at TAP Tech Support...
tho i can tell ya that TAP really isnt designed to work with other mods (says in the readme)...

Ensure that scripts/Multiplayer/SpeciesToShip.py (_AND_ the pyc version, but the py version is more important) is from TAP, which your current version is missing a constant defined in that file.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

jeez.... does anyone EVER read the help files?
the TAP pack is NOT made to work with KM, or any other mods.

maybe (a big MAYBE) some QBA mods will work, but I don't recommend it.

Just because it's not made to work doesn't always mean it won't. ;) Still, damn it's fun.

Uh, all I have is the .pyc version. in my main scripts file and TAP scripts only has the .pyc as well.

Then you will need to ask on the TAP forum about a missing constant in SpeciesToShip for TAPFedSovereign.py.

Then you will need to ask on the TAP forum about a missing constant in SpeciesToShip for TAPFedSovereign.py.
and that will disable SpeciesToShip for KM as well. TAP is not designed to be compatible with KM.
at least, not yet. if there's a way to append definitions to the original SpeciesToShip, maybe.

There is a way, but it won't update multiplayer (thank god :P).
Just create a file in Autoload (or maybe Custom/Ships) that imports SpeciesToShip and sets various variables (if they aren't there!).

then it will work for QB, but not for MP?
