Yeah, there should be four on the secondary hull, two port and two starboard.

There are only two visable on the saucer section. One behind the bridge then the other is a large square hatch on the port side of the saucer section.

There isn't one on the opposite side for some reason on the Connie but there is on the Miranda. You can see the Enterprise connected to the drydock via the port saucer hatch in the Motion Picture.

there are in fact 2 docking ports on the ventral saucer section and if u watched TWOK u may have noticed the display panel showing the number 4 next to the airlock when kirk first comes aboard

Only one ventral airlock has been shown, in the Motion Picture and that is hidden by hull plating most of the time.

My statement points out everything that is identifible as an airlock on screen from the studio model, but I believe in TWOK Kirk enters the portside torpedo bay airlock which can be seen on the studio model anyhow.

On the 6 foot model from the Christie's Auction, the engineering section, as well as the torpedo bay have a round docking port on both sides (4 in all).  For the saucer, the port side section has a rectangular door, while the starboard area has no docking port of any kind.

The area back of the bridge also has a round docking port.

The large neck section built for closeups of the torpedoes firing, there is only one port docking port on the torpedo launcher.  Anyone can confirm this by looking at the ST: 2 & ST:3 screencaps. This was a mistake, because they probably thought that no one would notice.

There are 2 airlocks on the ventral side of the saucer, though only one was used in TMP. Sorry for being too analytical, hope this helps! :)

Hmmm, trying to figure out why you're not happy with the torps, but I'm not seeing it.  Good luck with the rest of the ship though! :D

I think I might have it: The hull going over and under the torp launchers themselves. Like with baz'z, shouldn't it stick out more?

Well, I'm hoping you haven't forgotten the two airlocks on the secondary hull (just above the pennant stripes) :P.

Either way I too am torn between the connies
