Do it in chronological order. Prerequisites first, then mods. ;) I would also suggest KM1.0, as it often has most of the prerequisite files.

It would help if you could provide us with a console report (see the stickies above).
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Delete options.cfg and try again.

What method did you try to activate -TestMode?
You are using the modified shortcut to play BC, aren't you?
And is the modified shortcut exactly as described?
Just with an appended
Code: [Select]
-TestMode(Notice the space)?
Also, make sure it's really appended, not just added, just take whatever it is, and append -TestMode to it, don't try anything more "complex".

I like to recommend to anyone playing BC, to play in TestMode anyway.

Define, "nothing", you browser works, doesn't it?

Also, KM likes a clean, v1.1 install (so a clean bc, with patch 1.1 installed).

There aren't any CD's with the 1.1 patch already installed.

Go here:
http://bc-central.net/forums/index.php?topic=2037.msg36280#msg36280

And put the attached file in scripts/Tactical/.

Now you _CAN_ open the console no matter what.

Yes, that's normal, but nobody except maybe the original development team could use that.
And they would need your exact installation for it.

So you can just ignore it.

And no, we can't disable that.
