EDIT:  Nope he's got a year over me :D

I think a deflector can really make or break a ship's overall aesthetic.

thats why I never like the Intrepid class from bottom or front view.

Okay, so I'll have to shoot for a week on this one.  Started work again on Monday, but the Labour Day long weekend is just around the corner.  I'll finish it up then.

DJ Curtis,

You didnt happen to obtain your inspiration from the original Voyager concept art, did you? there was one particular piece that looks nearly identical to your ship. I'm just curious. She's a cute little ship so far; very well built.DJ Curtis,

I see a post within a post and think, Postception.

Sorry. :P

Since he asked it twice I think DJ should answer it twice :P LOL

I agree though there it does look like that concept :) Only thing is, that concept was supposed to push the engines out instead of them being static :D.

My bad; posting from my phone can be a pain in the rear.

Are you sure the nacelles were supposed to push out? In the artwork I saw, the pylons looked static, like DJ's.

Of all the people throughout the known Galaxy who might have uttered those words I would have expected it to be a Noob  DJ s last post was 9/5/11 and as he told me when I inquired about Raven and I quote: "As for Raven, he comes and goes.  He'll be back.  Count on it.  It's just a matter of when." I believe the same of DJ so until then....we wait.....
