Looks good! Interesting design. Kind of looks like a Nebula, Akira, Centaur hybrid

Nice job on the modeling CR, it's really great to see you building stuff from scratch, you've got lots of talent.  the mesh looks very clean, and knowing you the textures will be top notch.

But God that ship is ugly.  :D

I honestly don't know why I like this design LOL.

So how are the textures going mate.

I haven't been doing anything on this ship for the last week or so; I've been swamped with tests (got another one tommorow in pharmacology/medicinal chemistry).  I've also started modelling new guns for Far Cry (I just finished .357, .44, and .50 barrels for a Desert Eagle last night - a real pain in the ass) so that's sort of got me a little distracted right now.

unlikely - the 3rd Era Team have enough on their list as it is...
altho, maybe a Sovvy Bridge retexture might not be a bad idea?

The Luna Class is from the Titan novels as I recall, so i don't think we have ever even seen a bridge for this ship.

It was described as looking like the Sovereign bridge, but smaller and with ramps instead of stairs.

Coming soon, I hope

Not yet; as I said earlier I've been busy with modelling guns for Far Cry, and just today I was able to get some work done.

I'll probably start textures for this ship in a week or so - it's going to be a very long drawn-out process since the texture maps I'm making are huge.

just an FYI - it is sort of a general "rule" to never ever ask that about any WIP lol

I'm getting close to finishing that gun; PSYCHO saw it earlier today and might be interested in using it for the Immersion modification - we'll have to wait and see since I've spared almost no detail in making this gun and it right now has 9515 polygons and I still haven't modelled the magazine and part of the inside of the frame.

How the HECK do you guys do this like it's so easy?  I can't even make a Saucer yet LOL.  What tutorials are you using Russell?  You've went from Retexturer, to Modeler in LESS than a year, me, I'm slow at learning :P.

That gun looks sexy man...*shakes his head* dayum!

I have a decent math background in solid analytic geometry and vector/tensor analysis so surface manipulation is very easy for me, which is why I was able to learn how to model quickly - also if you guys still want to drool over the Desert Eagle models you can do so here:

As far as tutorials go I messed around in Milkshape for a while until I got the hang of the main tools that I use in that program, and also talked to LC a lot about modelling (back when I first started out and made all those shitty models that were loaded with smoothing errors, like the Intimidator V1.0).

Good one, CR. This may just be the Angelwings C. With your permission later, of course.

No, Mustang does retextures, everyone of his ships have been Angelwings. So it would be the USS Angelwings C, the Luna class starship.
