hey guys, i been having a small issue with my BC install since getting the new DS9 xtended.

Basically since getting it, i have no transporters, which is to say, i have lost ALL my transporter buttons on each menu: tactical, First officer & Engineering.

I used top be able to transport to other ships, transport torpedoes, transport tribbles, and transport nukes on stargate ships but now the options are gone and i dont know why, i have tried deactivating and reactivating all mutators and mods but it still happens, any help is much appreciated, thanks

it has nothing to do with DS9E...  it looks like the problem is a faulty carrier (for shuttle launching) with one of your ships...

in the stickied thread of this forum youll find MLeo's console logger...  please use that and upload the console report here instead...

ok, i just got that console logger thing, placed it in the folder and now im getting a BSOD, i deleted the file out and tried and still get the BSOD, damn, i really need help now, i dont wanna have to reinstall everything, ive got soooo many individual ships that i couldnt possibly remember them all!!!!!

you can still get a console report with a BSOD they are easy to fix...

Depending on what version of the console logger you use you have to create a "Logs" folder in scripts\custom.

ok, ive got past the BSOD and gotten a console report, but i cant make heads nor tails of it

had to zip it coz i couldnt upload it as it was

Delete \\Scripts\\Custom\\Carriers\\ExcelsiorD.py or upload it here so we can fix it.

ok, i deleted out the excelsior file and the transporter buttons are still gone, i got a new console report and i still have no idea what it all means, but i can even see that its full of errors, can someone have a look and advise me whether its fixable, or if i should just start from scratch, cheers guys

go back to the Carriers folder and delete ExcelsiorDv3 py and pyc...
also, one of your ships has a projectile scripted for it called "QuantumTorpedosb" which you dont have... 
also, looks like one of your projectiles called "BreenPulse" has a SpeciesToTorp value which doesnt look familiar (ALPHA?), i would try changing that to "DISRUPTOR"...

btw - exactly what mods have you installed and ion what order?

- Ditch ExcelsiorDv3.py carrier plugin
- You've got an error in Projectiles\BreenPulse.py please fix the reference or use a different projectile file
- BorgAttack.py AI is a bit screwed up

Well as for wat mods i have installed, tht might be a problem, i cant remember all the ships i put in, but it started as KM1.0 with all the Aftermath packs installed on top, the galaxy charts 2, redistribute shields, BCS-TNG, stargate pack 3, slipstream framework, and finally DS9 Xtended, but theres atleast 50-75 other ships on top of all that.


Being that i have 0 experience with modding/fixing mods, would i be better off to just start again from a fresh install of BC???
