What's up with BC Files?
« on: July 18, 2010, 02:57:42 AM »
For the last 2 or 3 days, whenever I go to BC Files I can't see any of the images??

I've tried it on 2 different systems and have used Firefox & IE and still nothing.

I think someone mentioned on the BCF site that it was a glitch their end that's occurred before.  Something to do with servers or site update, and will prob be fixed in day or two.  I'ved used Safari, IE and Opera on both PC and Mac and same issue as you guys so definitely problem their end  :P

:yeahthat: It seems BCFiles (and Filefront as a whole) has issues every month, makes me wonder if the community should start posting its mods on ModDB or somewhere else...

Thank goodness for that, well in a way!

I was starting to think it was my browser.

when I started seeing it Friday, I checked with other browsers to make sure.  it's definetly universal.  now I have to wait to pick up a replacement Gal X till they have their picture issue fixed.  glad someone's informed them, at least.

When it comes to a problem with a files site there is no such thing as an isolated incident. If its one its always all. Probably connected to attachments not being visable on the forums aswell.

I never did like BCFiles color scheme, I'd prefer darker colors (probably similar to BCS) to be honest.

Stranger think happened to me this morning other than the pics being down. I was reading the posts on the poll and the reply section was already filled in with some spam story about raping and Jessica Albas. I do hope BC files has not been hacked.

Needless to say I hit the back button rather than post comment.

Checked back again and the comment box was empty!

I know what is going on, but I am not allowed to tell you, seeing as how I am one of the Network Admins for Halofiles.com, letting me have "the inside scoop". limey98 will know the reason aswell if he has checked his email inbox recently.

Lets just say, Break planned it for "the greater good". :)

Just sit tight and everything should be back to a working condition soon.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Billz: so, they're using it for cover for the "relaunch" they've been talking about?
