multiplayer issue

when i go onto multiplayer it says server connected and checksumming scripts but then it says file mismatch, scripts/autoexec iv tried deleting the file then restarting it but it still wont let me on

you must have the same exact scripts as the person you are playing with...
if your scripts and theirs dont exactly match, you get that "file mismatch" error...

Usually Kobayashi Maru MP matches are prefixed with the correct version:

If it's a KM 1.0 game, switch to clean KM 1.0 installation
If it's KM 2009xxxx KM 2010xxxx game then switch to the appropriate beta version
If there is no prefix the mp match uses stock 1.1 version of the game IIRC
and so on
