all it needs now is the Ent era "shiny" (just a touch of it, though).  mabey rig a pirates version that leans to the "orion" version

Or reshape the front and just edit the main hull abit, and add some ENT nacelles, and Boom a Dicovery

I actually kinda like the front end of the SS Conestoga, makes the ship have a more massive and colony ship kinda look but I have to agree with the nacelles though as the pins make it seem inconsistant with most other canon ENT era vessels built by humans.  ;)

Remember this ship is way pre ENTERPRISE.  She was launched 4 years after Cochrane's initial warp flight.  Also the Paramount Model (pic earlier in this thread) has them.

Anyways, here is an update:

I really like how this is looking so far!

I am glad you are thinking about a pirate/orion version, with a hull configuration like this...I could imagine a pretty good payload of weapons just waiting for a unsuspecting merchant.

I think you've got the nacelles at too steep an angle.

The earlier textures look more TOS-ish, the second ones look more ENT era. I like both!

You could release both, one as the prototype, and the other as the 'production' version with a stronger hull perhaps. (Would also explain the visual differences) And, if you do make a 'pirate' version (Perhaps by late ENT-era they're as common as the Batris type freighters) you could add extra hull plating etc.

'Course thats only IF you do a 'pirate' version.

Love it so far!
