Exactly, the full price is really for people who will use it professionally, it's mostly for licensing purposes when it gets used in commercial applications rather than just for the software.

well im an SFC modder, well just starting out there, but im a gmax man, I feel so alone in that I use it to

I used to use Gmax, then got a copy of 3ds max 4.1 but I never paid for the autodesk subscription fee so Im stuck with this version for now, and forever as I wont be paying 2500  :roll  although I do use other modelling software for rendering and mapping etc..  :)

All cool kids pay $3500 for 3ds max, like the 24 BCC members that use it, clearly, totally, sure thing, absolutely, no question, did.
