Export Requests - Starfleet Command Series
« on: August 05, 2009, 01:27:07 PM »
I'm starting this page to provide a place for gamers (especially me) to post requests to export BC .nif ships to SFC .mod files.  I'll be back later after I scour BCFiles to compose my list.

You have to ask the authors permission before porting a ship model. And some of the authors do not allow porting.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Not only that, but a ship mesh has to optimized for another game. The polys have to be lower to prevent noticable game lagging. It's just more work for the person who is exporting it.

That too. These things are usually best settled over the PM system.

The only time I can think a request thread would be ok, is if it was the modder themselves... asking for requests...
Did you know I'm on Twitter?
