Nanofx 2.0 + qbr ?
« on: June 24, 2009, 03:34:20 PM »
Does anyone else have trouble running these two mods together? Whenever I load qbr with nanofx active it crashes at the loading screen. I don't even get a chance to get the console report etc :(.

Are the two mods completely incompatable (which would be annoying as I only installed nfx for the spiffy warp sequences :P) or does anyone know how to get them to work together?

Cheers!

Put this in Autoload and run QBR again with NanoFX.

I do believe there was a problem, but that was at the time NanoFX was released (ie. quite some time ago).
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Ok, I put that in and had it crash again. But I'm not getting any output where the logger script says it will be :(

Oh, it will be in scripts/Custom/ starting with the current date/time and ending in _output.txt (or _output.log)

I think it has something to do with the engineering extension/ qbautostart, I turned it off and it seemed to fix the problem, but I guess that leads into the question of whether theres a way to make that work with qbr and nfx2 together?

Maybe it's not QBAutostart itself but a script that relies on it. You'll find those scripts in scripts\Custom\qbautostart. Try disabling them one by one.

qba 0.7 and earlier seem to work fine, so it must be one of the new bits in 0.9.1 thats causing the problem

i'll stick with 0.7 for now
