Wondering if people here can help me out at all

Just a few things I'm a little stuck on:

1) With videos, how do people get those angles where the ship starts behind the camera and flies 'through' the camera before dissapearing into the distance, if my ship gets that close my camera (in cinematic mode) just flicks to another angle, this is the main one I want to know really

2) After I go into edit mode with Edit() if I create a light I'm left with a massive green triangle where the light is coming from, same happens with an asteroid field, even if I leave edit mode I still have these coloured triangles hanging around, also in the second menu for edit mode if I click anything in here like *Change orientation or something like that my BC crashes to desktop, anyone got any pointers for edit mode?

for the light just move that thing away. klick it, press m and use the arrow keys.

and when you want your ship in cinematic mode like you said, you must not have a target selected, then press F5 and your camera will be static.
