Give it a really big phaser coming out of its gob, give it super tough hull and shields which should be made invisible and put all its internal organs...internally. :P

Since Baz and I have both built a Doomsday machine, what credits do we have to add if we want to use Zambie Zan's Doomsday Machine HP?

IDEA !

Give it immense hull strength, enough that it would take forever to pound it to death (because weapons are useless against solid Neutronium), but put its warp core at the front in the mouth so you have to shoot in its mouth in order to kill it.

you could name the worp core something else and still give it a lot of strength so that even while attacking it at its weak spot, it will take a beating to kill it.

if there is no one stated in the readme for making HP then it was surely ZZ so I guess you'll need to credit him for using his HP as a base/reference for your HP

Why not make your own hp? Baz is.

Baz has much more time than I do.

Not to derail the thread further - sorry, Baz - but does that have something to do with the million ships you're building, Wiley? :P You need about thirty more arms, I think.

Back on topic: Will this thing have a record for "Bridge Commander's Biggest Phaser Beam"? *chuckles*

Well as can be seen in the screen shot thread it is in game with its own HP (well I took daleks JJprisev2 HP to start with) and it is customised to the doomsday machine.

it has one "big ass" laser and that is it. At the moment the issues I need to work out are: -

It is to nimble and fast.

It has a habbit of running away from the TOS connie at the moment rather than fight!

The laser needs more work and I need a SFX for it (currently sounds like the TMP phaser).

I would like to animate the "eye" but making the texture is not going to easy.

here is an idea. Is there a way, i guess it would be MVAM, to once it distroys a ship, planet or station in game that it spawns a small ship size baby DM like in ST: Phaze 2? Or better yet give it the abilty to lunch shuttles and replace the shuttle with a smaller DM baby. This was during the fight it might lunch its baby for help or jest before you kill it it sends its babys out and you would have to face them. I totaly agree with the above comment that there should be no shields and jest supper hull. I cant remember but i don't think it had warp. I looks great so far.

For the running away thing, you can give it a Torpedo tupe or a pulse property that fires invisible, zero- Damage Projectiles. That "should" fix it.

Wouldn't they trigger the shield hit shimmer when the hit a ship?

not bad, although I would have replaced the saucer with the neck, it doesn't make much sense to replace the neck then reattach the old saucer.

You don't need to actually have a torpedo to launch, you just need a dummy torpedo, that way the AI will fly the ship.

Nice video there, as well

Techniclly the saucer (like the rest of the ship) was not replace but rebuilt around the exsisting one. Imagine they stripping off the old saucer rim and bolting the new one to it, and building the new surfce as the went in.

I if was a case of replacing the components then it would be a completely new Enterprise not a "nearly completely new" as Decker pointed out

Nope. Zero Damage projectiles never impact on anything, they just fly through.
