Rebuit the dock arms so that there are only 6 arms.

I will be keeping the 8 arm version as well

I hate to do that but if you want it to be canon then you need to make those pylons a lot narrower also the sphere structure needs a lot more detailing to it... fortunatly I have 720 dpi ST XI and here's few shots of the station and close up on sphere

Nice pics Bones.  Don't know where you got em, but oh well :P

And he is right, though the 8 arm starbase looks good with the wider pylons. :D

I agree with Bones, the center sphere needs more detailing. Just some tweaking to be done with the new references, I think

BTW: Here's a texture you might find useful. Made it myself :-)

Also two of the arms are off-center, but other than what has already been said it looks pretty good.
All hail the messiah!

Woah, supersized Nacelles! Bit big aren't they?

The nacelles on the JJPrise are only a couple of meters longer than it saucer. Thats almost double the saucer length.

Neat!!

I find the buzzards a little ... flat. How about doming them, not greatly, just a slight curvuture so that the fit the rest of the ship better. Apart from that, it's a great design.

nah. An ambie would be a bit far ahead to do Imo. The oberth would be a challenge too.

That would be the same as it was built thousands of years before Nero showed up, screwing with the timeline.

The same goes for the Enterprise Era, as it was all pre-nero.

Then what stops you from making it an almost CGI mod with eye candy model and crisp textures hm ??? would be interesting ;)
ZZ's model is great but we could have a lot more detailed model (model wise as textures are very easy to do on these)

But surely JJ would have found some excuse for fecking with it anyway?
