My love
Is wand'ring in star-flight
I know
He'll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me."

Is your GFX downcloked, because Im with Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512MB GDDR5 and I have 7.6

When I was running Windows 7 32bit I had 7.7 for the graphics but it dropped when I went to 64bit.

Selling some old stuff + moneys = 80Gb Intel Gen 2 SSD. :dance

My storage stands as such then:

1x 80Gb SSD = Boot drive/Program drive/Game drive
2x1TB (Raid 1, thus 2x1=1Tb) HDs, for Movies, Music, Pictures, Books, Software .isos etc

The result is that programs like Photoshop etc, start fast as hell (as do boots), while all the media files still have plenty of space.
The worse data-intensive operation the "Library" does, is play a 1080p movie, and since it can do it no point for it to be faster.

I thus announce this system perfect & complete.

Have you updated the firmware on the SSD so it can make use of the TRiM commands?
And what's the clockspeed of the CPU? 2.67 of 4.00?? that one part of the screenie makes no sense to me  :hithead:
I miss :bigdance:

My current case, is the Lian Li PC-A05N, and I am an extremely happy camper with it.

In case you are wondering, what you are looking at here. The PSU, is mounted on the front under the hard disks. This means that the entire case is exactly as tall as an ATX motherboard.
The end result, is that I get to fit my entire system in it (with this cooler and a 5870) in a tower that is actually small enough to transport in a small suitcase.

Here's how it actually compares with the antec 902:

Antec 902: 49.3cm (H) x 21.8cm (W) x 47.2cm (D) 11.5 kg
PC-A05N: 38cm (H) x 21cm (W) x  x 49cm (D) 4kg
And the Lian Li actually seems to be cheaper...

The graphics card blows air at the rear, and the motherboard is upside down, sucks air from the rear and (along with the PSU) blows it from the front, from those holes on the side. So it's semi-reversed airflow or something, but I rather like it and seems to be working well. Plus I can warm my hands on the hot air coming out from the front side.

Frigging hell that must have been a b*stard to fit everything in there..
How's your cable routing? lol

EDIT

Just read the rest of the article..
I'm actually rather impressed. What was the build quality like?

EDIT 2

Thinking about it, wouldn't sending the heat out the front impact on the reliability of the hard drives?
And that is one mahooosive cooler you have there!!

And yet, everything fits, without having to bend anything.

I quite like the build quality.

You can open the side panel without using tools. Similarly, the DVDRWs and HDs slot in tooless. The second are mounted on some rubber thingies, presumably in order to be more silent.
Aluminium in/out you can also get an aluminium bezel/door thingy to place in front of your optical drive, as to not spoil ze looks.
It also has a small trapdoor on the top, with two USB ports and a Microphone & Headphone jack. More here.

lol, BES, you are changing your systems soo fast. Mine is nearly two yearold and Ill keep it for about 4-5 more years :eek
btw, is it F8G good BIOS for my GA-MA790FX-DS5, because its BETA and Im afraid. For F8A I read that it shows everything like CPU name, max multiplier and etc, but the PC restarts on the second hour. Im not sure if this F8G is good :(

Not sure, stopped updating that motherboard since a new BIOS update wont change anything for the way its currently set up, you might have to roll back to a previous BIOS..

Here look at this Cinebench result of my overclocked Phenom II X6 1090T attached link, used 100 threads in the test :) :

Is that the classic theme? :lostit:

Isn't that verbotten for aesthetic use in 2010 by a United Nations decree or something? :p
