Actually I think Cord is probably the resident expert on transparency at the moment.

So I have modeled them in, I like em, in this state though it adds a huge amount of polies because of the cage and keeping it meshed. When finished this model may end up being 30k Triangles at this rate......
I'll throw my hand down as always and show you the cards, its a 100% perfect mesh wise 30k, and i reckon 2 x 2048 maps to boot. :eek
How does that sit with the machines of 2011??
