Mark, I don't see it as necessary to completely remodel the grilles. Just select by smoothing group and delete the rest . . . ;)

Yeah, I had them grouped mate, and when I unified them and made them one mesh I did not, remove the groups before it was unified, either way... after many painful hours they have been rebuilt, and thanks to your suggestions and positive comments that kept me motivated she is now sitting at 8.7k polies entirely unified and 100%.

Im not building them again

the ring around the bridge is supposed to be flush with the front of the lower ring if you can understand that.

You know what I always wondered? When the USS Sao Paulo was renamed USS Defiant, shouldn't her registry have changed? It seems like they would have changed it to NCC-74205-A or at least NCC-74205.
