Looking for a mod I once had...
« on: December 22, 2008, 12:01:25 AM »
Hi all,
Just reinstalled after a bit of time out of BC. I'm looking for a mod that I used to have which allowed me to control my ship when in an external (F9) view. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks, and merry Christmas!

Hmm...well, I wasn't looking to install all of KM; I have already reinstalled many of my favorite ships and mods from the past. Thanks for the response!

I had this before KM was released, just not sure what it's called.

1. Open game
2. Enable All Mutators
3. Open QB
4. Press "F9"
5. Do a Barrel Roll
6. ???
7. PROFIT!!!

Anyone else have input for this? I think it's a script change somewhere but not sure where.

All I know is that stock BC didn't do it. But KM did allow you to.

This is the file ya looking for....

just goes into bc\scripts

don't forget to delete the pyc file.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

That didn't do it. Now when I hit F9, nothing is responsive.

I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Yep, I have no external camera control now. I can't hit F2, F3, etc.

Try this version. Delete the pyc as Neb said.

Put it in the same folder. Overwrite when asked if you havn't deleted Nebs version.

Its the one I use and it works. So there, lol.  :D
Can't wait for 2014 to start.
