Lol cookie for you

Lol thanks :D

as for the names there will be 5 ships :
USS Nimitz
USS Patton
(both suggested by admiral homer)
USS Hood (reg. with A at the end cuz it will be continuation of the USS Hood ships)
USS Warsaw (named by capital city of Poland)
USS <dunno what - still waiting for name :D>

and the latest news are : HP is fixed thanks to Cordanilus, also I've played this ship ingame and I decided to include two different HPs, first (SNS Galaxy style) with single phaser array both on bottom and top saucer and second HP (CG Sov style) with 5 arrays.

As already been stated I'm still waiting for new modeled in phasers arrays from Lint :D
Make new phasers?  :?

I know i have come up with two names already but how about naming one of the ships after a ship that was destroyed in the dominion war. Maybe Valiant or Vally Forge. Just an idea  :P

Well I think I can spare some more space for more regs since ID map with 1024 resolution is only 4,6 megs so additional 20 for some names will not change a lot when packed in RAR or 7zip ;)

Some ideas, both for humor and real thought:

USS Archangel
USS Emo (Destroys ITSELF!!! :P)
USS SAM!! (Are the klingons allergic to CATS!?!?!? BUAHAHAHAHAHA!)
USS Mercedes
USS Serenity

And for a set we've yet to see in BC, which I think would be awesome...
USS Leo
USS Saggitarius (sp)
USS Cancer
USS Scorpio
USS Pices
USS Gemini
USS Capricorn
USS Taurus
Etc, etc.

OR! You could do it in a BSG style, like...

USS Leon
USS Saggitaron (sp again)
USS Picon
USS Tauron
USS Geminon
Etc, etc...

Enjoy! I personally would love to use the USS Emo. >_<; Ship loads, shoots torpedos that whirl around and hurt itself! Give it a blackened hull, instead of a starfleet insignia it'll have a broken punk-style bleeding heart... :P Okay, I'm having too much fun with this thought...

As promised, some ingame shots :D I'm happy from texturing on this ship, in my opinion it's almost ready, just need to do cosmetic details on bridge section, add phasers and it's done :D

McCoy, you've done an AMAZING job! Excellent quality, I'm very pleased to see this. :)

My only nit-pick is the bottom of the saucer. the lighting seems off, is that a smoothing issue or just the way the game's throwing the light?

Anyways, I could really care less. It's gorgeous, and I think those pics are actually POTD worthy. Have a cookie, my man. Fresh from the oven.  8)

That looks fantastic!  I have a suggestion, or wish or what have you. :)  I have always disliked the bottom of the saucer section on every single Excelsior ever made.  They look too flat and boring.  Ruins the rest of a stunning ship.  It needs detail.. a few lights, windows...something.  The rest of the ship is highly detailed and pretty, and the bottom of the saucer is just kind of flat and lifeless.  Not just in your model, but in all of them.  Doesn't anybody else feel the same?  Otherwise, fantastic ship.. can't wait to pilot her.

Thanks guys, yeah that's a smoothing error and I'm looking for someone with 3ds max who could fix that, unless there is something that can be done about it in milkshape 3d, while I'm writing this post, ID maps are finished and ready to put some regs on them :D so only phasers, smoothing and new icon is needed :D with no complication it shoulld be done in few days :D

I'd offer to fix it, but I'm much better at pissing Lint off with MY errors than I am at fixing them. As for MS3D, well... I never was very good at using that app. :/

Dude! Dude! Are you doing the USS Emo!?!?!? XD
