Just out of curiousity....
« on: October 01, 2007, 12:05:20 PM »
The function that allows the turbo lift doors to open and close for miscilanious crew members to enter and exit the bridge, can it be used to open up shuttle bays as well for shuttles to enter and exit?  And if so, can this also be used to open up the torpedo bays for the armored voyager from End Game when you fire torpedos?  Just thought it might be a cool idea to explore.

the bridge set and the space set are sep.... you can't use the same things...
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Every "space" you see is a "set".
Deep Space is a set, Belaruz 4 is a set, Vesuvi 1 is a set.
And the Bridge is also a set.

Unfortunatly, the biggest difference between a (real) bridge object and a ship object, is that a bridge object can be animated and a ship object can't.

But, a ship object can have glows, speculars, damage, hardpoints and a bridge object can't.

So I'm afraid you can't use a bridge object for ship animations.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...
